How do I enable the Windows 10 System Restore?
Posted by CompuClever Support Team on 23 February 2016 04:36 PM

Windows 10 comes with the System Restore function actually turned off, which will raise a message from PC TuneUp Maestro when you run a registry scan stating it is unable to create a backup using Windows buit will use another system to generate one. To get rid of the message is simple enough, enable System Restore in Windows. To do that please follow the steps below:

Look to the bottom left of your screen and click where it says "Search Windows"

Type in "System Protection" (no quotes)

Press the "Enter" key

The "System Properties" panel will appear and the "System Protection" tab will be selected

Click on "Configure"

Click the circle beside "Turn on system protection
