Internet Explorer is slow to load pages, what can I do?
Posted by CompuClever Support Team on 25 October 2011 02:30 PM

If you are finding that your internet access is slow, and you are using Internet Explorer, you may want to reset the application back to default settings.  Many websites will add toolbars and "Browser Helper Objects" to Internet Explorer.  Individually they do not have much of an impact, but if you get a number of them they will slow the browser down.  To reset Internet Explorer please open PC TuneUp Maestro and click:

Fix and Clean

Internet Explorer Repair

Launch (this will allow you test how fast the application works without the Toolbars and BHO's)

If it improves, go back in and click Reset to make permanent changes
